KC Bp. Finn: keynote speaker at 2008 National Catholic Prayer Breakfast

Check out Kansas City Catholic‘s news about their fine bishop:

Bishop Finn: Keynote Speaker for the 2008 National Catholic Prayer Breakfast

A friend informed me today that Kansas City’s own Bishop Robert W. Finn will be the keynote speaker at the 2008 National Catholic Prayer Breakfast.

The breakfast will be on April 18 at the Hilton Washington in the District of Columbia. EWTN coverage will begin at 8:00 a.m. (Eastern). The guest speaker has not yet been named. As you may recall, President Bush addressed the gathering last year. Other speakers include Michael Novak and Marcus Grodi, two well-known Catholic personalities. Since the breakfast coincides with the address to the United Nations by Pope Benedict XVI, those attending will be able to see the Pope’s speech, during a respite in the breakfast’s scheduled speakers.

What an honor for Bishop Finn (and for his diocese) for him to have been chosen for this occasion.

Let us remember him in our prayers all the more in anticipation for this important event.
